Asking where someone is from and possible answers
- Where are you/formal you from? = ¿De dónde eres/es tú/usted?
- I am from Mexico = Yo soy de México
- Where is he/she from? = ¿De dónde es él/ella?
- He/She is from Spain. = Él/Ella es de España.
Example:
- De dónde eres, Xochitl?
- Yo soy de Tucson, Arizona.
